The 21st century is seeing a rapid transformation in how companies conduct business. The term, "business as usual" has lost its meaning. This year, Cornell Business Impact Symposium (CBIS)Â draws student leaders and professionals together to explore the power of sustainability in business. Participants will address the world's most pressing problems through social and environmental initiatives.Â
Last year, participants featured speakers in energy, impact investing, and technology from companies including Unilever, IBM, AT&T, GE, and the US Department of Labor.Â
Join us for a day of killer keynotes, presentations and networking with industry leaders who are shaking up the private sector. We’ve carefully crafted an incredible lineup of speakers who are prepared to inspire you to think innovatively and create solutions to build a better world.
This year's Symposium will be hosted by Cornell’s Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise (SGE). The Center works directly with organizations to identify, evaluate, and develop strategic and profitable business opportunities that impact the world’s social and environmental challenges such as climate change, ecosystem degradation, and poverty.
